Iri Ji Grand Finale — Harvest, Heritage and Community

Culture in motionExperience the Iri Ji Grand Finale—where music, cultural expression, community participation and the landmark Iri Ji Pyramid come together in Anambra State.
Move from the sound of the stage to cultural presentation, community participation and the defining Pyramid project.
The experience connects thanksgiving for harvest with cultural performance, documented community participation and a living archive for future festival editions.
Iri Ji is associated with the new-yam season, thanksgiving and the public renewal of community relationships in many Igbo communities. Its form, terminology and observance differ across communities.
This festival presents its own programme in Anambra State while keeping general Igbo context, Anambra perspectives and host-community practice clearly distinguished.
About the festival

Yam carries agricultural, economic and ceremonial importance in many Igbo communities. Iri Ji can express gratitude for labour, land and harvest while reaffirming kinship and cultural continuity.
The heritage section will document these meanings without presenting every Igbo or Anambra community as culturally uniform.
